Pregnancy and Its Types

pregnancy A woman being pregnant can be very challenging in its part. You carry the baby for about 9 months and after that, the joy of seeing your baby is the true moment of all. During pregnancy, the pregnant woman may have experience lots of sacrifices and new learning.

Pregnancy is define as the state of being pregnant. It is the period from conception to birth when a woman carries a developing fetus in her uterus.

To women, when you already experience menstruation and does have a partner, any woman can expect pregnancy. You are possibly pregnant when you notice this signs. When you missed your monthly period, when you have unusual or abnormal period, when you just feel you’re pregnant, when you’re experiencing nausea and vomiting, when there’s changes in libido, when you feel some soreness in your breasts, when you notice that your breasts is becoming bigger than its normal size, when you’re experiencing frequent urination, strange cravings for food, fatigue could be a sign, skin changes, stretch marks, colostrum from breasts and when you feel some palpitation of the baby in your lower stomach. It is best to go to the obstetrician if you feel some of these signs. Obstetrician knows how to determine whether you are pregnant or not. Ways like ultrasound detection and distinguishing fetal heart tones. You will also know that you are positively pregnant when you use pregnancy test. Symptoms of pregnancy also include morning sickness, mood swings and spotting and/or cramping.

A pregnant woman should know that there are stages of pregnancy that you have to be aware of. These stages also have different needs whether its you or your baby. Stages are first trimester, second trimester, third trimester and after that its giving birth. But it does not stop there. You will have to know that after giving birth, you will still experience some of its effects. It is called postpartum. Postpartum is the period where can be both exhausting and exhilarating. You and your husband have different roles to do as parents.

There are many types of pregnancy. Pregnancy such as first pregnancy or new pregnancy, second or third pregnancy, Lupus pregnancy, Ectopic pregnancy, twin pregnancy, and teen pregnancy.

First pregnancy or new pregnancy is your first time to get pregnant, your first time to become a mother. Second or third pregnancy also means second or third time you get pregnant. Lupus pregnancy may result to premature or early delivery and blood clotting. This pregnancy can be dangerous to the mother and the child. Ectopic pregnancy is where the fertilized ovum grows in the fallopian tube and not in the uterus. This is a very dangerous pregnancy. If a woman in her early pregnancy experience pain in lower abdomen and collapse, this is an indication that you have ectopic pregnancy. Twin pregnancy is having two fetus inside your uterus. Teen pregnancy can happen during the time when a girl is still immature and the body is still in its way to develop to a full grown woman. This happens because of poverty and lack of education about sex and how to avoid getting pregnant early.

In any of these types, a woman should see a doctor to ensure her safety and the baby’s health. Every pregnancy will be different from each other. There is no the same pregnancy to each pregnant woman. You will experience everything during these times. Just be confident and think of the baby and its joy that it  later give to you.
