The Ford predictions say that for the next decade 70% of company’s growth will come from Asia-Pacific and Africa. The most important part of this will be in China, where in the current year 500,000 Ford cars have been sold, with an increasing tendency. As a result the number of dealerships has already risen from the planned 310 to 340 dealers. The thirty dealers added are part of the Ford’s plan to add 100 new dealerships in areas with high new car demand, i.e. in smaller cities and inland provinces throughout China, in this period of economic boom spreading from east coast to the interior.
