But just few of us are lucky to have a chance to see this wonderful places through their bare eyes and visit them. Good thing we do have new technologies nowadays that will take us to places that we haven’t seen or have gone before. Even just through images. Here are some historic places that you would want to check. Lets take a trip in our imaginations.
*Manchu Picchu- is located in Southern Peru. It lies in the top of a mountain and is only accessible by train or trek for 4 days. Famously called "Lost City of the Incas".
*Tikal- is located in Guatemala. One of the greatest and most populated cities in Mayan civilization. It is a 50 year old national park. You can have a sunrise view from the top of the temple for just 10 US Dollars.
*The Pyramid at Giza- is over 3,000 years old and nobody knows how Egyptians built and got the idea on how to do it. The Great Pyramid is the largest among the pyramids and is built by Pharaoh Khufu.
*Petra- is located in Arabah, Jordan and is discovered by a Swiss explorer in 1812. Made known because of Indiana Jones third movie. It is included as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
*Stonehenge- located near Salisbury, England and is over 3,000 years old. Made up of standing stones that came all the way from Wales.
*Parthenon- is an ancient temple of the Greek goddess Athena. Built in the 5th century BC. In old days, Parthenon was used as a treasury of the Delian League. It is damaged by an explosion in the year 1687.
*Easter Island- located out in the Pacific Ocean and some part of Chile. The stones are the attractions of the visitors here. Its stones is made out of volcanic ash.
*Taj Mahal- located in Agra, India and is built in the 1600′s. This historic building is said to be a testament of undying love for the deceases wife of Emperor Shah Jahan.
